Dedicated to the performance of new works and modern classics, NYC-Based Orange Road creates exciting listener-centered musical spaces for curious audiences. The programs they develop in close collaboration with today’s leading and emerging composers are focused on bringing people together and expanding the art of the string quartet.

Orange Road was the 2024-2026 Cuker and Stern Quartet in Residence at the Mannes School of Music where they received mentorship from the JACK Quartet, as well as the quartet in residence at University of South Carolina from 2021-2024 where they were mentored by JACK quartet founder Ari Sreisfeld.

Recent highlights include appearances at Lincoln Center, Tribeca New Music, Salon 58, on tour in Spain, the South Carolina Chamber Music Festival, a return to the Southern Exposure Series where they played George Crumb’s Black Angels, and a performance of the Philip Glass score to Dracula with the legendary Michael Riesman.

Their first album, “Tales from the Orange Road” is due out on CMNTX in 2027.
